"I know liars when I hear them…."

Man-o-man!

I barely got the posting of our nation’s Bill of Rights online before tuning in to hear an interview on Anderson Cooper’s AC360 with my favorite tropical troubadour~ Jimmy Buffet.

It was, as usual, when Buffet’s given the chance to quip--insightful and entertaining--but amazingly, ol’ Jimmy ended up sharing the spotlight with breaking news and another of the Gulf Coast’s rising stars—Billy Nungesser.

Rather than repeat what I’ve seen and heard in the last few days, I’ve decided to share it with you. I recently took some heat for a couple of past postings—including being called a “Commie” by someone I’ve never met.

Unfortunately, the reader didn’t think I actually researched anything before writing about it.

The last time I was so honored—I, along with fellow SAR aviators—was called an “air pirate” and “a terrorist” by none other than—Fidel Castro.

Our book, "BETRAYAL: Clinton, Castro & The Cuban Five" was researched by my co-author and I for thirteen years—needless to say, I’m practiced at “knowing about that which I write.”

So hence my decision to write this entry stylistically different than my others—I’ll link you to “the truth”, since it is being lost in the words of our President and his new minion—Commander Thad Allen (USCG-retired). Simply click on the bold type at the end of the paragraphs and hear the truth as it’s told by others.

Imagine my shock after posting the words of our First Amendment….

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

…to hearing this CNN breaking story of a “new law” inhibiting the press from covering the BP spill by way of threatening to charge reporters with a Class D Felony and fining them up to $40,000: First Amendment Suspended?

Of course, this law is meant strictly to prevent the truth from getting out and was later met head-on in a radio interview with the fury of “Fireball Billy Nungesser”: Nungesser Calls Out The Government and the Coast Guard.(10 minutes of TRUTH)

Thankfully, our President—the leader of the “free world”—stated previously that “the buck stops” with him—unfortunately, so does the truth.

You see, it’s not only me. Based on his experiences in “show business”, Jimmy Buffet claims to “know liars” when he hears them, too.

Unfortunately Jimmy, I’ve never been in show business, but I did for a brief time in my life sell timeshares—I know liars when I hear them, too—and so does most of the American public as detailed in Paul Driessen’s recent posting, “Obama's Deliberate Katrina”
